Object Lab
I am thrilled to announce the creation of Object Lab, a digital fabrication lab located at Towson University. Students and industry partners collaborate with laser cutting, 3d scanning, cnc milling, and three 3d printers: Object 30, Zprint250, and Roland's Solidscape. It's Next Gen Making. SIGGRAPH 2011 is just a little over a month away in the beautiful city of Vancouver BC. The Studio kicks off the conference with a Roundtable featuring Peter Weijmarshausen, CEO of Shapeways, Michael Raphael, CEO of Direct Dimensions, Hyeong-Seok Ko, creator of Digital Clothing, Adam Mayer of Makerbot, and Dallas Luther of MakerFaire. With Cory Doctorow as moderator, it is a not-to-miss event!
